Caramel Popcorn 1 1/2 c. popcorn, 3 poppers full

2 bags 1/2 of popcorn in each bag
Large skillet
1 stick margarine
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. syrup (Karo)
1 tsp. salt
Microwave 3 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute until it comes to a boil. Microwave 2 minutes first, stir in 1 teaspoon soda. Pour over popcorn. Microwave and shake 45 seconds 4 times. Caramel Popcorn printer friendly version located here. Click Back to return. |
