Caramel Corn 6 c Popped popcorn
1/2 c Almonds slivered; toasted
3/4 c Brown sugar; packed
1/2 c Margarine or butter
2 tb Light corn syrup
1/8 ts Salt
1/4 ts Baking soda
MICROWAVE: Combine popcorn and almonds in large micro safe bowl. In 4 cup micro safe cup, combine brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt. Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes; stir. Microwave on HIGH for 2-3 more minutes or until mixture comes to a rolling boil.
Stir in baking soda; pour over popcorn and almonds.
Mix well; microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes. Spread on foil or wax paper to cool.
